The driving age is not the main problem. I bought my first car at 15, and, like many others, I was a careful and responsible driver. However, the drinking age should be returned to what it was before Helen Clark fixed a problem that did not exist. I would also like to see a limit put on the power of vehicles owned/driven by teenagers.

The motor vehicle has become the only method of natural selection, now that a punitive justice system and frequent famines have ceased removing the terminally stupid from the gene pool. Now, all we have to do is to find some way of preventing the collateral damage!

It doesn't matter when you left home 15-18 year olds are just too immature and too hormonal to be responsible to drive. Spend a week in my Trauma centre to witness the wreckage of teenage driving
